About The Hilltop Catering & Events Center
Our events center serves as a new focal point for events of all types in the Pittsburgh area, including weddings, retirement parties, corporate events, birthday parties, live music, comedy shows and more. We’ve built a flexible space designed to accommodate events and guests of all ages and tastes.
The Story
The Baranowski family took the former North Park Clubhouse on Route 8 in Richland Township and transformed it into one of Pittsburgh’s most versatile event destinations. What was once a clubhouse is now 16,000 square feet of fully renovated event space, designed by Karen Laughrey and built to host gatherings of every kind, from intimate rehearsal dinners to full venue buyouts.
The renovation was purposeful. The goal was to build the best event venue for the North Hills community, a space where the food is exceptional, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere makes an impression before a single word is spoken. Seven private event rooms give every occasion a fitting home, and the option to book the entire venue gives larger celebrations the exclusive experience they deserve.
The Family Behind It
The Baranowski family has been building hospitality businesses in the North Hills for over 35 years. Our portfolio spans dining, entertainment, indoor golf, and specialty beverage concepts, and each location is built on the same foundation: create something the community is genuinely proud to have nearby.
North Park Lounge has been a neighborhood institution for years, with locations in both Richland and McCandless serving full menus, hosting private events, and running weekly programming that keeps regulars coming back.
The Hilltop is the most ambitious project in this portfolio. It reflects everything the family has learned from building and operating each of those businesses over the years.

The Hilltop Catering & Events Center is located at 5301 Ranalli Drive, Suite B, Gibsonia, PA 15044, one minute from PA Turnpike Exit 39 and 30 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. We serve the North Hills and the greater Pittsburgh region, including Wexford, Cranberry Township, Allison Park, Hampton, McCandless, Shaler, Glenshaw, and surrounding communities, though our clients have come from near and far to experience our unique atmosphere.
